i started a poetry resource blog for my past and present writing students:
the title comes from a Carl Sandburg quote “poetry is the synthesis of hyacinths and biscuits”
Sandburg isn’t my favorite ever but i think this is one of my favorite “definitions” of poetry, hence the title.
i’m planning to use H&B to post writing contests and prompts, industry news, articles, anything i think would be useful to a budding writer.
